Key People
Ross Martin –Managing Director
Ross has many years of experience in the waste management industry having set up and successfully run a similar company over the past 14 years. After developing that business as far as was possible and feeling the general waste market had become too cluttered, Ross decided to put his experience, enthusiasm and innovation to good use and started Jettison – A fresh new business model totally focused on a target market and committed to delivering excellence and personal service at all times.
In his spare time, Ross is a wannabe rock star – playing not only the bagpipes but drums and guitar too. He’s ever hopeful of a call from Jools Holland…and not because he’s having a clear out.
Tracey McCallum – Accounts Manager
Tracey has worked with Ross & Dave for several years and as well as keeping them in check, she looks after HR and Jettison’s customers too. If there’s anything you need, just give her a call or drop her a line. Outside of work, Tracey is a volunteer Riding Instructor at Riding for the Disabled, dog lover, cook and keen traveller –so much so she’s known affectionately to her colleagues as Judith Chalmers.
The Team – Truck Crew
The Jettison Crew…
Nancy – Office Junior
Still on her probationary period, Nancy is showing great potential. Her tea making skills need improvement and she’s often caught snoozing. However, she’s always ready to offer a warm welcome to visitors and she’s excellent at rounding up the truck teams.
What do we take?
We can take most items, except for food waste and asbestos.
How does it work?
Every clearance job is different. We will assess each job individually and provide costs and timescales to suit. Give us a call and we’ll take it from there.
How long does it take?
If you call to organise a quote or book in a job -sometimes we can arrange for the same day but generally a day or so notice is perfect. We’ll schedule an appointment that suits you and a member of the team will give you a courtesy call 15 or 20 minutes minutes before arrival.
How do you pay?
Our invoices are payable on receipt & we email them out on completion of your job. The majority are paid online or by BACS transfer, however, our truck teams can accept cash or cheques on the day.
When it comes to the environment, Jettison strives to be as eco-friendly as possible. The fleet of new ‘low emission’ vehicles that we have just purchased is brand new.Additionally, we have an average recycling rate of over 90 percent, and we are working towards the goal of running a paperless office. Exciting new technology is on the way.

Size matters
I think we can all agree, that photos of other people’s rubbish are far from sexy. Hopefully, these images will give a flavour of the typical types of clearances we routinely carry out. Here’s a small selection of some of the smaller clearances we’ve done.
